Berea Bible Church was founded in 1975. The first pastor, who provided leadership to the starting group, was Ron Klein, who we remember fondly. Our land, about five acres, was bought from a local farmer. The main building and storage shed were built by the members of the church at that time. Later, a portable building was donated to us by Forcey Memorial Church and was placed on our property. It was renovated to become our current worship building, and also houses our church library and office.
Daniel Bradford was our next pastor, serving from 1994 to 2002. He faithfully preached the Word of God to us, and it was a delight to us to see his family grow. The Lord called him and his family to ministries in Alamo, Texas in 2002.
Our current elder and pastor is John Cobb, who is a graduate of Washington Bible College and who is the owner of a construction business. He has ten children, the oldest of whom attends the Air Force Academy in Colorado. We enjoy John's teaching and preaching of God's Word, and enjoy the fellowship of his family.
